Peddars Paws Facility & Field Hire

You MUST NOT turn up or use our facility without pre-booking. Bookings can be made from 2 hours in advance.

You MUST NOT turn up to Peddars Paws before your booking time. We have purposefully scheduled 25 and 55 minute sessions to prevent any crossover between customers.

The maximum number of dogs allowed in a single session is 6 dogs – for the exclusive hire of our field.

Please DO NOT bring dog(s) with any kind of virus or disease to our facility. For example, if your dog(s) has had any kind of illness including kennel cough, diarrhoea, or sickness in the past 72 hours.

All dog owners agree to act responsibly when on-site with reference to the health and safety, and wellbeing of their dog(s).

We DO NOT currently have any lights at Peddars Paws.

We have fresh running water on-site for all our customers to use as desired.

We DO NOT have any toilet facilities for human use at Peddars Paws.

Please DO NOT litter. We kindly ask all litter to be taken away with you.

NO barbecues or fires are allowed.

NO climbing on the fencing or gates.

Please DO NOT allow your dog(s) to dig holes on the field. If they do, please fill in any holes to prevent accident or injury.

If anyone tries to enter the field or main car park during your booking time, please let us know as soon as possible by calling 01953 571728

All areas must be kept clean and tidy. Any mess left during your session should be cleared up before your departure and existing the site.

ANY POO MUST BE CLEARED UP AND DISPOSED OF USING THE BINS PROVIDED

Hirer/User Own Risk

It is the responsibility of the hirer/user to ensure the field is safe and suitable for their dog(s) prior to letting them off lead and entering the field.

Children under the age of 16 should have adult supervision at all times.

You MUST NOT leave dogs or children unattended in the field or on-site at any time.

The use of our facility is entirely at the hirer/user’s own risk.

The proprietors of Peddars Paws accept no liability for any damage to property, injury, or death of any human or dog that use our facility.

The proprietors of Peddars Paws accept no liability for any medical/vet/hospital bills required for any human or dog as a result of any injury incurred when using our facility.

Vaccinations

All dogs visiting our facility must be immunised before using the field. Please check your dog is also up-to-date with flea, tick, and worm prevention.

Peddars Paws reserves the right to ask you for supporting evidence to satisfy these medical requirements and decline access if such conditions cannot be met.

The kennel cough vaccine is advisable but not obligatory. 

Safety & Security

Our field is surrounded by 6-foot high fencing, with net skirting at the bottom. If your dog has the ability to clear a 6-foot high fence, then unfortunately our facility is NOT the suitable place for you and your dog(s).

Every reasonable effort is made to secure the Peddars Paws facility and is regularly checked to ensure the best safety possible for our customers and their dog(s).

To ensure the wellbeing of all dogs you should maintain a maximum of 3 dogs per adult on-site.

Padlock Code

Our padlock code is provided in our booking reminder 2 hours before your booking via email and SMS/text message. This will give you access to enter the main car park for your booking time slot. If you don’t receive our reminders for whatever reason, please call 01953 571728 and provide us your full name and booking time slot.

It is the hirer/user’s responsibility to check they have received and know the padlock code in order to enter the facility for their session.

Under no circumstances should you give or tell anyone the padlock code for entry to the field or let anyone else in during your appointment time. We ask this to ensure everyone entering the area are bona fide and booking customers.

XL Bullies

Unfortunately we DO NOT currently accommodate XL Bully dogs at Peddars Paws. We understand this may be disappointing for some dog owners, but as a new business we've decided to make this decision to ensure the comfort and safety of all dogs and visitors at this time.

Arrival & Parking

It is the hirer/user’s responsibility to turn up on the right date and time. The proprietors of Peddars Paws accept no responsibility for missed appointments.

Please DO NOT arrive earlier than 5 minutes prior to your booking time.

If you arrive early, please park in our allocated waiting area.

Please DO NOT open the gate to the main car park if there is someone else in there.

If there is someone in the field that has overstayed their time and does not appear to be leaving, please call us on 01953 571728

If you arrive late to your allocated time slot, you must still leave at the end of your time slot to make way for the next customer.

Entry

We allow 5 minutes in between bookings for entry and exit.

Please allow the previous customer to lock the gate behind them before you enter. Once they’ve vacated the premises you can go over and unlock the gate to enter the main car park to begin your session. This follows the procedure/rules here at Peddars Paws and ensures the safety of all our customers and their dog(s).

Use our padlock code to unlock the gate to the field car park for you to enter. Please securely close the gate behind you before letting your dog(s) out of your vehicle.

Hazards

The field is a pasture area and as such there may be natural hazards, such as uneven ground, mole hills, certain weather conditions may cause the field and/or parking area to become slippery.

Equipment

Peddars Paws DO NOT accept responsibility for any human or dog injury caused by the use of our own equipment, your own equipment, or any equipment left by the previous user of our facility.

Please remember to take home any dog toys brought with you.

Escape

All dogs should be insured under their owner's public liability insurance. The proprietors accept no responsibility or liability for escaped dogs. 

All precautions are taken to prevent any dog(s) from escaping, but in the rare event of an escaped dog, please call us on 01953 571728 and we will do our best to help where possible.

Departure

We allow 5 minutes in between bookings for entry and exit.

You must vacate the site at the end of your time slot – ensuring the area is ready for the next customer.

You must always lock the gate behind you when vacating the main car park and before leaving Peddars Paws – even if you see the next customer waiting, please lock the gate behind you as this follows the procedure/rules here at Peddars Paws and ensures the safety of all our customers and their dog(s).

Hirers/field users agree that the proprietors maintain full control and possession of Peddars Paws dog field and any equipment supplied at all times.

The hire of Peddars Paws dog field does not constitute any rights over the land.

Payments

We accept most debit and credit cards.

Payments are collected using Square; our chosen, secure payment processor.

We DO NOT accept responsibility for card details entered incorrectly when booking with us.

On the booking confirmation screen, you will have the option to create an account, which will securely save your details for a faster checkout next time (not compulsory).

From your second booking with us, you will have the option to safely store your debit or credit card information for an even faster checkout next time (not compulsory).

Cancellation Policy

If we deem it appropriate to cancel your booking, for example due to extreme weather conditions, we will offer an alternative date and time.

You have the ability to reschedule any appointments or cancel and receive a refund up to 24 hours prior to your appointment time.

Refunds have to be manually processed and can take up to 7 working days.
